Before you block off a Saturday to gut your closet, declutter your office, clean out your bookshelf and start that kale juice cleanse, let’s talk about the most important spring cleaning of all: rejuvenating your mindset.
Hear me out! Resetting your focus and assessing what needs to stay and go in your personal business is actually much less stressful than literally rolling up your sleeves. Most of the time, it only takes subtle “finetuning” to recalibrate yourself to achieve your goals.
Just like cleaning out the closet and washing the sheets, your mind needs attention this season to keep you feeling fresh and inspired, no matter what your personal business goals are.
Here are a few reminders to meditate on this season:
You are stronger and more resilient than you think.
Yes, you will be faced with endless criticism and doubts from those around you (and yourself), especially when you try to do something new, brave and bold. But it is a mistake to be afraid of feedback. Face it, challenge it and grow with it. It really is that simple. People’s opinions do not define you and cannot hurt you unless you allow them to.
Develop a positive relationship with money by using it to enable personal empowerment, growth and transformation.
Do not use money (or hoard it) out of fear. Remember that cash is energy; it’s intended to be used for good, not for stress or “rainy days.”
