Sherri was one of those types of executives who prided herself on getting things done. She was reliable and responsive when you needed her. The people she worked with could trust that she would help them when needed and be the type of person everyone knew was passionate about her work.
When she arrived for her session, Sherri was not happy. She was tired and frustrated. No matter how many lists she created or the number of tasks she checked off as complete, she never felt that way. She didn’t feel like she was reaching any deeply satisfying accomplishments. Sherri was on a gerbil wheel that never stopped spinning. What she didn’t know was that she was controlling its pace and the fact that it never moved from the perch it sat on.
The saddest part was that, by the time she got home to her family, she was wiped out from the day’s events. The one place and time she wanted to have the most energy, she had the least.
Sherri was not recognizing the impact of her time metabolism.
What is time metabolism?
Metabolism is defined as “The process by which your body converts what you eat and drink into energy.”
Time: Well, if you want to get into a physics debate you can Google “What is time?” Its definition is quite the moving target.
